The Nothing Phone (2) is a more premium product than its predecessor. While the Nothing Phone (1) was a mid-ranger, the phone 2 is a flagship or a “flagship killer” of sorts. After its launch, we are now awaiting Nothing Ear 2.

The Nothing Phone 2 has two 50MP cameras on the back – a wide-angle primary and an ultrawide secondary with macro capabilities. There are all sorts of lights to help you in the dark, a video-capturing indicator, and three microphones. On the other side, you will find a 32MP Quad-Bayer selfie camera.

However, it is uncertain whether Nothing is prioritizing camera technology or focusing on other aspects of the device’s functionality. The default Camera app is close to what you’d find across the latest Realme, and OnePlus smartphones use. Swiping on the viewfinder or the scroller below switches between modes, while the additional ones can be found under the “More” sub-menu.

Battery and Charging

The Nothing Phone 2 has a slightly larger battery than Phone (1) – 4,700mAh vs. 4,500mAh. Together with the more efficient display and chipset, the Phone (2) should deliver an even better battery life than iPhone 14 Pro Max, iPhone 15 Series, and the Galaxy S23.

The Phone (2) scores a total endurance rating of 103h, with great call times and thoroughly impressive Scree-On-Times. It can last over a day on calls, nearly 18 hours on web browsing, and over 23 hours when playing videos.
